Childrens/Family Game

In this blog post I will be writing about children s games which I feel are good and then comparing it to a game that isn't particularly good. First off, the game that I think is a very good children s game is the Super Mario franchise more specifically . I've chosen this particular game because it's a perfect example of what a children s game needs to be, it's fun, enjoyable, uses bright colours to attract the players attention, has catchy music and most of all it's game-play is very simple to master. Also the game consists of over 50 side scrolling fun without the feeling that there is so many levels because the game makes this fun. Looking at the controls they're very basic in which the game can be played easily rather than a game with controls that are hard to lean, this make the game more enjoyable and fun to play and not having to worry what buttons to press to do certain actions.

now I will be comparing the previous game that I spoke about to a children's game which isn't really very good, that game is Spongebob Squarepants: Revenge of the Flying Dutchman, the main reasons that I have chosen this game is because there are many bad points about this game, one of those is that you can do odd jobs within this game which you can do such as delivering food to an address and looking for items that are lost in quite boring environments  but they don't really require much attention to complete them as they are fairly simple to do. Another fault in this game is that the age rating on the game is 3+ but looking at reviews is seems that people say the the difficulty does not represent the age rating of the game, basically meaning that the game is best suited for someone who is older than about 4-5 maybe age 6-7, but that's just my opinion.
